The TRA

We are holding the next AGM at 11:00, 12th April 2008 at the Brunswick Estate Community Centre, Mulberry Court.

We will be discussing various updates on:

• Major Works
• Security and anti-social behavior
• Percival/Triangle Framework (the architects plan!)

Feel free to come along, meet the TRA and perhaps even get involved.

Please add this date to your diaries.  We will be holding a TRA meeting at Mulberry Court, starting from 20:00.  We will have the folks from East and Dialogue presenting their approach to the Percival Triangle Framework, which it is hoped will provide an holistic framework approach to project-based improvements in the area for the next few years.

Directions: At junction of St John Street and Percival St, turn right up St John Street towards Angel.
Immediately after the library, turn left into the Finsbury Estate.
Walk under the arch of Patrick Coman House and continue through basement of highrise Michael Cliff House.
Turn right and Unity Room is the red door on the right.

We will be sending out a newsletter/flier this weekend with more details. The focus for the agenda is Security. We will be inviting police officers, safer neighbourhood team members, HFI and EC1 New Deal to attend.

As a result of the recent TRA meeting (held on Wednesday 16th May) a date has been set for the next Annual General Meeting. This will be held on the 20th June 2006, and in order to get as many people along as possible we will be dropping a leaflet through doors to let everyone know the details.

Primary issues set to be discussed at the meeting will be the major works and estate security, both of which are quite topical (wave to the nice workmen!).

As you might be aware, the Apollo site office is currently being set up. We have also had a spate of anti-social behaviour on the estate recently. Mixed with the excitement of the imminent scaffolding there are quite a number of security issues that need to be addressed. So come along!

Next suggested TRA meeting is next week on Tuesday 21st or Wednesday 22nd. Location as yet undecided.
